The past several years, I have watched hungrily as the Taste of Wailea event passed me by. Over $100 for a ticket to this event? Yikes! Not affordable for a gal who makes much less per year than she used to. Hey, it’s the price we pay to live out-of-state and close to the ocean, and while I wouldn’t trade it for anything, it does mean that I may miss out on a few events.
But not this year! This year, I was given tickets to this awesomely yummy event, and I brought my good friend — and fellow foodie — Caroline along on this culinary caper.
While we didn’t try everything, we gobbled down a few of the dishes, and then dove in to dessert and drinks. Take a look at the yummy goodness Caroline and I shared last weekend:
Several Wailea restaurants participated to demonstrate their culinary talents, and these were just a few of the delectables we sampled. If you are looking for a review of the event, you won’t find it here. This is just me sharing the awesomeness that this experience was for me! Ok, one little thing: THE FOOD WAS FREAKING AMAZING. (Except the foie gras…didn’t go near it.)
